How to identify
Bed Bugs:

Bed Bugs are nasty
little insects that are often found in couches, cushioned chairs, bedroom closets, pillows, comforters, hiding in between blankets or sheets, and between bed mattresses. This includes your home and even hotels you are staying at. You can identify Bed Bug activity by taking a good look at your bed and look for little brown spots. If you see said spots, that means they have been biting, and you've been bleeding. Bed Bugs can also leave behind fecal matter that can show up as little brown spots, too. Bed Bugs can live in your car, which is often an overlooked place, so if something bites you in there then you may want to take a closer look. If you are not sure you have Bed Bugs, and think it may be something else, contact us for a Bed Bug
inspection and we can let you know for sure. Either way, you will want to treat for any kind of bug you have that is polluting your home and affecting your health and disrupting your good nights sleep.

Bed Bugs live off blood. They like to come out at night and bite you or your pets and feed off this blood. If you are a deep sleeper you may sleep right through this and wake up with Bed Bug bites. Sometimes though the Bed Bug bites can be so painful you will be jolted awake only to find Bed Bugs scurrying away from you to their hiding places, waiting for you to fall back asleep before they attack again.

Bed Bug bites.

When it bites down it will suck blood much like a tick, but it will not latch on, favoring to run away and bite you again the next day. They are hard to miss! Their bites will itch very badly, and Bed Bugs can carry other pathogens as well so they should be taken seriously.

How do you get rid of Bed Bugs?

There are a few ways to get rid of Bed Bugs:

1. Hire a professional (give us a call! We will be happy to help).

2. Move your family and pets our of your house for three months so they starve to death.

3. Get something else that eats Bed Bugs to infest your house (spiders and cockroaches will eat them for you).

Options 2 and 3 are not ideal choices, obviously, so we look forward to hearing from you soon!
